The worst day of someone's year is a strange time to raise your prices. Plenty of vendors do it anyway, and every one of them teaches their clients the same lesson: this relationship is leverage, not partnership.

Our rate is the rate. Blue sky or black sky, the number a client reads on a calm Tuesday is the number they pay in the middle of a hurricane. The advantage of planning ahead is priority, not price: stand-by partners deploy first when everything happens at once.

We do not price chaos. That is the whole position.
